Even if I thought China was a bad actor here (and I do), so what?  No one is going to do anything to China on the world stage or otherwise.  Just look at how the NBA - which actually had some leverage (unlike any country on the world stage now toward COVID-19) - cowered when a Rockets executive made a tweet supporting the protesters.  Too big, too powerful, too unified in action is China.


Who is going to declare liability?  

Who is going to calculate damages?  

And who is going to "collect?"  



And even if you could answer the above questions, who has the bandwidth?  Each country has its own concerns regarding virus containment (and its own shortcomings in responding to the virus).

Agree down the line with teejers.  Chinese communist party actions fall in the realm of things we can't control.
