What the public accepts now was impossible before mid-March.

This is so true.  Who could have imagined last year that 90% of the country would be participating in social distancing or sheltering at home.

Does anyone think in a year (or even in 6 months) that you'll see more than 50% of the population wearing masks outside the house?  I can't imagine it, but stranger things have happened.
