Did White + Pugh transfers free up one more scholly slot?

The 3 spots for our 3 earlier signees were predicated upon Pugh transferring. White's transfer opened up one more spot for Ziaire or possibly another recruit had we not landed him. However, if Keefe returns back to walk-on status for one season in line with his original agreement (2 years to WO then 2 on scholarship...last season we just happened to have extra scholarships), we'll have one more slot for that other potential recruit. That is still a possibility AFAIK.

I think they will keep Keefe on scholly this year. Having 5 in a recruiting class has down the road impacts, although with everyone saying Williams is one-and-done and Terry either gone before or after next season maybe we need 5

Considering the rate at which, under Haase, we've lost grad transfers (Travis, Cartwright, Pugh, and White), underclass transfers (Ryan), and early NBA draft prospects (Okpala and now Terry), I think we should start recruiting on the assumption that we may not retain more than 2/3 of any given class across four years of player eligibility.
