A path forward? Anyone living outside a big city (size TBD) go to work and wash your hands often. Avoid contact with other people and stay home if you are sick. No gatherings of more than 10 people where social distancing is not possible. Keep the elderly and higher risk people at home or otherwise separated from others.
If you live in a big city, shelter in place until community spread is cut to some defined level (TBD).
Keep travel restrictions in place. Use the Abbott Labs 5 minute test for anyone boarding a commercial flight with a destination within the USA.
The experts seem to agree that social distancing will only slow the progression of this virus. We were told that SiP was required to keep the hospitals from becoming overwhelmed. In almost all areas, we are past this danger. So, it is time to start letting people go back to work. This virus will be with us indefinitely and many of us will eventually get it. But, well over 98% will recover, many with no symptoms.
