I think this is right, but it extends far beyond Covid-19, and into realms such as the repression of Uighurs, the attempt to subvert the rule of law in Hong Kong, to their claims on Taiwan, to their assertion of sovereignty of the "9-dashed" line, to censoring and internal repression. The response to COVID-19 fits into that, of course, but I think it is a small part.

The unperceived bias here continues to amaze.
It depends who "they" are. I am thinking that the poster was referring to entities like NATO, for which, for all the partisanship pre-Trump, was pretty much universally supported.
