I remember when my son received his recruiting letter. Applicable portion reads "as long as you maintain excellent personal and academic standards..."
I talked with the coach and the AAD, who said the same thing. Keep your grades up. Don't take weak classes your spring semester / senior year. Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your parents about.
