As far as I know, none of the COVID vaccines being looked at are of the live attenuated variety. Short term immunity may be ok as a temporizing measure. We do annual flu vaccines (not because the immunity wanes per se, but because the circulating strains change each year), so you could envision a situation where you get your annual Covid vaccine with your flu vaccine.
