Debated putting this in the Humor thread, but it's more relevant here today

That said, the fact that a president will utter stream of consciousness ideas in a public setting is incredibly irresponsible, period.

According to an article yesterday, he usually doesn't attend the task force meetings before the daily press "briefings" and is just given some talking points shortly before the briefings start. He is mainly just winging it, and attends these briefings primarily because he enjoys jousting with the reporters which he thinks (probably correctly) earns him points with his base.

That's got to be fake news from the nasty reporters in the lame stream media!!!

Obviously he is winging it.   You can often see it in the facial expressions of the people standing around him even though they are trying hard to keep up their best poker faces. 

It is so strange.   I do worry that if the people around him are this ready to be group think, yes men types for these press briefings how will they help him navigate the USA through the challenges that will have to be addressed after congress and the fed stop issuing that mountain of money.
