Yes, Linda was not the happy, humorous, charismatic persona that Tempe is, and so she was not my favorite at the chalk talks. But I did not come away with quite such a negative impression as some others. I remember her being a little sardonic, with a sense of humor that was understated and a half smile. And there were a couple of times when she gave much more substantive information about the game than the other coaches. I remember once or twice she explained how a particular player would be defended and I thought "Oh, that is quite substantive." It was almost because she was less experienced at glad-handing that sometimes she fell back on basketball-ology.
And perhaps I should point out that Tara herself is an introvert. There is a reason she uses her assistants for these kinds of activities, and it is more than the fact that she is busy. If you gave Lindy an extra 35 years, her demeanor might be a lot like Tara's.
