A cynical reader might have interpreted my post as a veiled attack on nepotism at a presidential level, but I really do believe that this is something that we ought to all agree about, and that it is an impediment to good governance across all levels of government, regardless of party and ideology.
That our presidential administration is incompetent and corrupt does not give a pass to it at other levels, and the problems in New York City speak for themselves, as has been shown in the article in another thread contrasting the local response in Seattle versus New York.
