To be clear, we lie to kids to get them to sign up to go into the military and then send them off to (usually) unjustified and unconstitutional wars for corporate profit against their will, and then we throw them on their ass when they are finished with their tours of duty unless they choose to navigate a 20-year career where they're sent off to die on multiple more deployments.
Challenge trials are far more ethical, honest, beneficial to the ones whose lives are put in the balance, and beneficial to society. It should be a no-brainer.
