I think the Carrington situation might be similar to Lili Thompson.  Player feels like they are being held back by the coaches or the system and decides to transfer.  And how did Thompson do at her new school?  Not so good.  She averaged 5.9 points per game before she got injured.

if we compare to marta sniezek, marta averaged 37 minutes per game for notre dame and likely would have averaged less than 10 if she had stayed at stanford.

I have no problem with players like Sniezak or Moschkau grad transferring for more playing time.  I was talking about when a player feels like they are being held back by our coaches or system and they would flourish and do much better on another team.  Yes Sniezak played a ton of minutes at Notre Dame but I wouldn't say she was more successful there in any way.  She played a ton of minutes on a team that struggled to score and yet she only scored 4.9 points a game.  The team finished 13-18 and Notre Dame fans were constantly frustrated at her reluctance to shoot the ball.  Seems very similar to her time at Stanford.
