Same. It's the only "dining out" experience we have. 500 degrees to cardboard box to our pizza dish to oven to plate. Masks and gloves everywhere. Seems safe.
Tangent topic, but I liked Newsom's proposal for restaurants to provide food to senior citizens in facilities during the lockdown, with $16 reimbursement for breakfast, $17 for lunch and $28 per dinner (delivery included). Helps the restaurants, helps the senior citizens ineligible for other programs.
Anyone know the status of the program?

just ramping up
Quote:On April 24, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom announced the launch of a first-in-the-nation “Great Plates Delivered” program, a meal delivery service for California’s older adults.
Great Plates Delivered has two purposes:
Local programs are getting set up rapidly.
- Help seniors and other adults at high risk from COVID-19 to stay home and stay healthy by delivering three nutritious meals a day, and
- Provide essential economic stimulus to local businesses struggling to stay afloat during the COVID-19 crisis.
The current due date for accepting Letters of Intent to participate is Monday, May 4th, at noon.
