I think a lot of players wouldn't play if it meant their family or coaches are at risk however. Especially if no eligibility is lost.
Also possible at that time we will have more information on long term sequelae. If a lot of covid patients end up with permanent scarring in their lungs which affects lung function, many players with an eye on professional football, or even just their own health, may reconsider. This is a big question mark at this time.
