Chryst's performance against SDSU in 2017 was indeed horrendous. Let's not make it worse than it was though.
First, he only had two picks, not three.
Second, only one was into triple coverage. The other was a jump ball to JJAW which he underthrew. The SDSU defensive back was right there for an easy pick.

I was at that game and it felt like basically all his throws were into blanket coverage. Maybe the absolutely terrible triple coverage pick is just so burnt into my memory it overrode everything else.
