It's time we as a public start asking some real existential questions about what kind of society we want to have. 

I think it's long past time to exercise the anti-trust laws and start breaking up mega corporations. We also need to seriously look at taxes on stock trading and/or require stocks to be held at least 30 days. The idea of buying a stock and selling it a second later is absurd. We don't need and it isn't helpful to have the wealthiest people producing absolutely nothing. And we should also have conversations about tax credits for hiring people, and higher tax rates on wealth that is going to be needed to create more social safety nets.

Or we can just ultimately fight a bloody revolution history tells us will happen when gaps between haves and have nots become too great.
