MVB but a transfer from UCLA and the first HS to JC to Stanford I believe since 2001
Interesting guy, and I take it, not your typical JC transfer. He had a 4.0 at the JC, took difficult courses, was three time All-Academic league selection in high school. Played for Balboa Bay, which is a superb club. Went to UCLA -- his dad's school -- but he'd always had Stanford in mind. Spent an academic year in France. Was a student Senator.

He's a lefty, looks like he plays oppo, but apparently was recruited as a setter.
Last interesting point...drops the comment that Stanford is seeking more transfers.
