Our trip to the Army game in 2013 --

Several days in NYC before the game. Two Broadway shows, Metropolitan Museum of Art, 9-11 Memorial, Central Park, etc. 

Then a drive up the Hudson Valley. Stayed at a B&B near West Point. Toured the West Point campus. Visited some local history sites.

Game day -- Cadet parade on the Plain. Skydivers. A routine win for Stanford, 34-20.

Drove across upstate NY in the days following the game. Visited the FDR historic site at Hyde Park. Toured the baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown. Stayed in the Finger Lakes area for a few days including wine tasting, a visit to Cornell, and a hike in Watkins Glen State Park. Visited the Museum of Glass in Corning. Ended up at Niagara Falls.

A really fun trip, mostly for reasons other than football.
