A really nice feature is that you can display custom combinations of states or counties. So you can visualize the entire Bay Area, states that opened early, etc.

Any idea if you can overlay states on a chart? I only see cumulative trends, but not state vs state.
I don't think they have quite what your looking for. But if you go to "Additional visualizations" from the main menu, you get some comparisons between states for cases and recent changes in cases, positives %, and tests.
There's a "state comparison" tool now. Nice!
Edit: Except, it appears to only allow two states in a head to head sort of way, and it doesn't appear to work (after I select a state of interest and then a comparison state, the state of interest doesn't show up). Almost there!
