“We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country,” [Furman] said.

For my part, I would be delighted to have the economy rebound so strongly to be "concerned" about Trump getting re-elected.

Depends on what he means by "about to see" and "economic data." If he means stock market in next few months, it's quite possible. Heck, the market had happy feet again today. If he means general economic activity in the next month, I think the professor may have gotten into his stash. It's not entirely impossible. A super effective simple treatment could be announced next week and congress could take action to rescue the masses from ruin, thus enabling the economy to come roaring back. I'm not holding my breath.
