A very sad milestone.  And next month, we will likely hit 2 million American COVID-19 cases.

We likely hit the 2 million COVID-19 cases a long time ago; it will be 2 million confirmed diagnoses, but we almost certainly have had many more infections.  Just in New York City, 1 in 5 people were found to have antibodies to COVID-19, which means that something like 1.6 million people had COVID-19.
