Thanks for putting this up. I, like many on the Board, enjoyed following Karlie during her four years at Stanford. During those years, she seemed to be a very hard worker, fundamentally sound, team oriented, and an exemplar in attitude and spirit. We've all probably heard her name in conversations about who will replace Lindy as our next Stanford Women's Basketball coach when the hiring freeze thaws.
I really hadn’t heard her talk about player development strategy, as she has here. So, for me, this interview served as a mini-interview of her as a coach. What I liked in this interview was her game knowledge at all levels, her natural confidence, and her ability to articulate herself. I think that she would be a great asset to our coaching staff, and that she would easily gain the confidence of our talented team.
The primary question that remains for me, though, is she ready to give up the game as a player?
