But, instead, why not just spread the cost out over time? Hire a prof for one year, and replay his lectures for the next 10 years.
Spoken language issues would need to be considered. I know my wife had a college prof whose (non-US) accent was so thick that he really couldn't be understood, per my wife & the other students, and the one recorded lecture I heard. The lectures were wasted time for most of the students.
