I'm not so sure about the timeline of the above. Correct me if i'm wrong, but while there was speculation and pockets of "proof" of asymptomatic cases in Jan/Feb, the WHO and the CDC and the MSM didn't really latch onto it til late March, early April. I feel like the shutdown was a result of escalating numbers, comparisons to Italy/Spain, and for later states, NYC.
