That graph of U.S. versus EU is interesting. If both are doing approximately the same amount of testing along that timeline it would be an apples to apples comparison. The decrease in the EU when they are probably increasing the number of tests performed is impressive.
IMO a revealing graph would be the percentage of positive results to the total amount of tests performed.
