I read a lot more than I post here, but the disappointment over inadequate contact test and tracing has me a little puzzled. I was very impressed with the statistics on the number of mild and symptomatic cases, i.e., carriers who don't even know they have the disease.
Doesn't this phenomenon make any attempt to identify whole chains of infected somewhat problematic? Are containment efforts based on contact tracing doomed to failure for that reason? Intuitively, it would seem so.

I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.
