Virtually all masks I see in public are not N95.  I wonder how efficient the cloth/paper/decorative masks are that I see all the time in public?

I imagine they help if the person wearing them coughs or sneezes into the mask.  Other than that, are they much good?

Even if it were only 60% effective, that would have a brobdingnagian effect on the speed of transmission.
