Agreed. This is one of the reasons why I was never comforted by the TMC hospital CEO joint statement claiming that there were sufficient beds. Bed count is...a nice red herring, especially when you have plans for more beds yet either haven't equipped the beds (converted from med surg) or haven't executed staffing plans for the new beds.
