I would think a better analogy is "California applies the brakes to avoid a train wreck"


One of the disturbing things is to watch the comments go by on the video of his presentation.   Very polar opinions that seem to be strongly held.

He did close some things down statewide for those 20% of the population not under restrictions (again, SCC got on the monitoring list today, but it takes 3 days on the list to be on the restricted list). 

For those counties on restrictions, the big item may be closing indoor operations of non-essential offices.  It doesn't say "stores".

One thing that wasn't clear:  indoor cardrooms  are now closed.  Will the casinos (slot machines, etc.) be told to close?  Will those that are run by American Indians actually close?

Lots to be cleared up.
