there are many great, amusing movies. i'll offer ferris bueller's day off and the big lebowski. and maybe napoleon dynamite and office space. death at a funeral. got to include robin williams - maybe good morning vietnam. peter sellers - maybe the party. for a recent great, amusing movie, i'll throw in booksmart. for an amusing animated feature, how about the south park movie (blame canada!)
funniest movie? if we are talking laugh-out-loud rather than just amusing, then i vote for super troopers, especially the opening 2 scenes: the meow game and the traffic stop of the teen stoners.
also hilarious are best in show, borat. the leslie nielsen films (airplane, naked gun) are so quotable ("surely you can't be serious." / "i am serious, and don't call me shirley"). road trip has 2 falling-off-the-chair funny scenes: the fraternity, and the visit to grandpa.
