There is an inverse correlation between the proportion of patients participating in protests, and the rate of increase in COVID-19 cases.

Not to say that the protests actually slowed down the protests, by any means, as the analysis is very confounded. But if there were a strong effect from the protests it would probably be apparent in the statewide data.
