Interesting info Papa John. I would have thought the temperatures to be colder than that.
Back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I got my Bachelors degree from Penn State. There were quite a few games played at Beaver Stadium (PSU's home field) where the temp never went above mid thirties in late November. This was on a natural grass field. While I can't speak for the players, I don't remember it being that much of an obstacle.
