Defense has been great.  UW 8-31 from the field, and almost all of their shots have been either Rogers or Rogers-created (kick from the double-team, nice bounce feed to a cutter out of the double in the post).

Much of the press focused on how we shut down Pac-12 frosh of the year Jazmine Davis, who went 2-18.

Davis, who said she cheered for Stanford and Cal growing up but wasn't recruited by either, credited the Cardinal for taking her out of her game.

"We all know Stanford is a top, top team," Davis said. "They really did force me into making hard plays, hard shots. I just couldn't make that hard shot."

I expected to see Toni on her, but when I looked at the tape I saw that Amber dogged her all the way down the court when Amber was in.  Lindy defended her when Lindy was in.  I could not exactly see what they were doing that was special.  I wonder if more experienced eyes could tell....
