Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez is out the entire season with COVID-19 related myocarditis. I think he's the first athlete that I know of who has been affected to that extent. I would be very curious to find out what proportion of players who get COVID-19 have a case as serious as Rodriguez.
But yeah, as long as the risk of myocarditis remains poorly characterized, I agree that the better part of valor is to postpone this season.
