“We have one shot to make this happen,” Vice Chancellor J. Michael Haynie wrote in a letter to students about the school’s effort to have in-person classes during the pandemic. “The world is watching, and they expect you to fail. Prove them wrong.”

The Vice Chancellor said it all. Unfortunately, I believe it is pretty probable they fail even if the students are quite compliant. Too many people too close together. However, if the are to have any shot at all, the students need to do an almost perfect job. I hope they do so.
