I don't have an issue with him clarifying his testimony.  I didn't think it was such a big deal; it struck me as an honest mistake, but I was happy to see him clarify.

I do think Twitter is the wrong forum for him to delve into the more substantive issues like uner what conditions an EUA would be revoked.

I agree it was a good idea for him to clarify his testimony, but wouldn't it have been better if he had released a statement through the FDA official channels? Tweeting something like this sends the message that social media is an appropriate channel for important FDA information to flow to the public. It also seems to set a precedent that other FDA folks can chime in if they want to do so without coordinating their messages through official channels. Both things seem like a very bad ideas to me.
