The 2021 class is obviously a tire fire, so the football coaches are putting much more effort into 2022, but I have questions.
In particular, how is the lack of standardized testing in admissions decisions playing out? I'm operating on the assumption these tests aren't being used in admission decisions because the testing facilities to give the tests have not been open. It would seem Stanford would benefit from not considering ACT/SAT scores in admissions decision for football players, but I don't know. Does anyone here have insight?
Have these tests been withheld from decisions in 2021 class? Will they be used for the 2022 class? And given all the talk of white privilege and how standardized tests disadvantage people of color, will the ACT/SAT even continue being used in admission decisions beyond these few years they can't be because testing facilities aren't open?
It's quite a shock seeing how terrible the 2021 class is going to be when to my knowledge ACT/SAT scores aren't being used in admission decisions.
