OF I'm with you on this, but saddened. Your optimism about a proof point reminds me how dysfunctional the USA has become. Most of us could list dozens of proof points. But proof no longer functions like it did. Trump followers discard proof as fake. And blindly continue to follow their leader.
Case in point, re Covid and masks. Those spot interviews at Trump rallies. He doesn't "believe in Covid" and neither do they. Masks aren't helpful. And yesterday, the AG comparing masks and gathering controls to slavery.
