Quote:Luck had a bad game by his standards--something like four straight balls underthrown by my count--but he sensibly adjusted to that by running more. Didn\'t make any bad mistakes and throw an INT. Very good bad game, if that makes sense.
Thought the very same thing. Â 35-0 and it was a "bad" game for the star QB. Â That is a very good thing.
The RBs are close to good too. Â Toby spoiled everyone, but these RBs and the OL are OK. Â The D was not really tested, but at some point maybe the D will get some props. Â Wake Forest clearly can score, so next weekend will reveal if the D can stop a decent O.
And then you consider...Stanford played without its stud LB, its starting RB or its super speedy WR/KR star. Â Three starters that did not play tonight, but could play later in the year. Â Wow! Â The team also was missing the starting TE too, but that\'s a slightly different situation.
Woke up early in London to watch and it was a fine start to Sunday.
Slick Rick looked overmatched, I could not help but wonder how long he will get to stay.
