The 247sports report conflicts with ESPN's reporting by Kyle Bonagura and Heather Dinich, which says that the Pac-12 CEOs will reconvene next Thursday to vote.  The ESPN report came about an hour later at 5PM, after the meeting had adjourned, while the 247 report referred to information "trickling out" of the meeting.

"The Pac-12 CEO Group had an informative and productive meeting earlier today," the group said in a statement. "We plan to reconvene this coming Thursday, September 24, to make a decision regarding possible return to play prior to January 1. The health and safety of our student-athletes and all those connected to Pac-12 sports will continue to be our number one priority in all of our decision making."

I suspect the the 247 reporting of a Nov. 7 start date is consistent with the target that was being discussed in the meeting, but the Pac-12 ended up not being ready to commit to it publicly.
