Los Angeles walked back its trick-or-treating ban the day after it was initially announced, replacing the outright ban with a recommendation against trick-or-treating.  Still, a ban on Halloween parties, gatherings involving non-family members, and just about every other typical Halloween activity.  We typically have over 1500 trick-or-treaters.  I still expect a large number, but not our usual non-stop front door to street line of kids.  I'm still planning to decorate for Halloween.

Not sure what we'll do.  We get over 1,000 kids per Hallowe'en.  We're on a street of small houses close to the sidewalk, not all that far from some high density housing, and presto -- 1,000 kids.  I don't think we're going to be open for business.  I might put a bowl down at the sidewalk with a "please take one" sign...and replace it every 15 minutes or so.
