Looks like he did, in fact, die of a complication of COVID-19.

An individual tragedy.  Indicative of nothing.

Just indicative that while the vast majority of young, otherwise healthy individuals will completely recover (if they even get sick), that number is not zero, and we should not assume that young college aged kids are indestructible.

Besides, I had assumed we'd all gotten numb at the fact that we just crossed the 200,000 deaths number.  As Joseph Stalin was alleged to have said, "The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic."
