Playing armchair contact tracer here, but it sure does seem like the Amy Coney Barret announcement was a super-spreader event.  Seven positive cases and counting.

I believe Senator Tom Tillis is in that small circle too.

That's 5 people that are in a circle that is about 10' in diameter.    Though it is not just where they are sitting, the attendees also mingled pre and post event.   Either way, super spreader event. 

A few things come to mind.   
* President Trump was claiming all of his outdoor events were fine and that he didn't know of anyone that tested positive.   
* A few college football teams were packing quite a few people into their stadiums believing outdoor venues are safe enough.   Sure hope this little case study will get most of them to stop that ASAP.
