It is a sad commentary on today's state of affairs that the President is hit by COVID-19 and some people's reaction is "I'm still not sure it isn't just a campaign stunt."

Michael Moore is certain that it's a campaign stunt.

I used to like Michael Moore. He is now an embarrassment to himself and his family.
I'm really starting to enjoy this spectacle of GOP incompetence.
The Senate needs 51 votes to move through any Senate action. The Senate Majority Leader has decided to run the Senate so it only needs Republican votes to move any Senate business forward. Three Republican Senators are now out with Covid, and there could be more today and tomorrow.
The Senate only allows in-person voting. If too many Republican Senators get Covid and have to quarantine, the Senate Majority Leader will only be able to move anything through the Senate with votes from Democrats.
If two more Republican Senators go down with Covid or have to quarantine, the Senate Minority Leader will effectively be in charge of the Senate.
