Slate, not exactly a right wing rag, suggests that Pelosi should take the deal that had previously been on offer.

The one thing that the article doesn't mention is whether liability relief is a part of that.
In any case, if accurate, the two sides are about $600 billion apart, which is not nothing (it's about the size of TARP), but also in the context of COVID-19 is actually not that much. My guess is that after all the sturm und drang, they will passs something between $1.8 and $2 trillion. Unless Trump has another change of heart.
