I don't know how 'blame the victim' figures into criticism of an elected official. The bottom line is that Whitmer has frustrated and infuriated hundreds of thousands of Michigan citizens. Six of them turn out to be sociopaths who are rightfully arrested and subject to the criminal process. That doesn't mean the frustration of the others doesn't have a rational basis.
I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.
