Speaking of central banks, I wonder if we will move into negative interest rate territory, like the Brits are apparently contemplating:

For the uninitiated, negative interest rates require the depositing banks to pay the Fed for the privilege of housing their money. Theoretically, it is meant to spur banks to make more loans.
