It's hard to believe Stanford, had it tried, couldn't have gotten ESPN to provide a feed of the women's game to Maples.

I'm sure I could have talked to some of the guys in the video room and they could have gotten the Stanford game. But the TV in the operations office had ESPN2 from DirecTV and there was no Stanford game. So I went back to Arrillaga to watch it on my computer.

As for the Cal game being televised throughout California, I don't think that had anything to do with Cal. As ESPN knows, everyone in California clearly wants to watch Notre Dame.
