Researchers from the Technical University of Munich in Germany and the University of Helsinki in Finland led a study that discovered a receptor called neuropilin-1 gives the novel coronavirus a leg-up in infecting our tissues.

Sounds like good news?  (I'm not versed in this area)

Neither am I, but it sounded like this may let the virus get in position to enter the cell.  Thus it facilitated the entry relative to SARS-CoV-1.  Blocking this might reduce the infection but not stop it.  Still good.
