The University of Wisconsin looked so good in week #1 with their 2nd-string QB doing great things.

However the State of Wisconsin is having a tough time with COVID, and it looks like the Badgers QBs may be impacted.   Hard to imagine any school wins a lot with the 4th string QB playing 2 or 3 games, and that assumes the 4th string QB doesn't get injured and avoids COVID.

This type of COVID cluster could impact any team this season, but given the rate of positivity in Wisconsin the Badgers were probably a touch more vulnerable than other programs.

A colleague's son attends Wisconsin and he has been in Madison since the beginning of summer.  Reported that big chunks of kids tested positive (evidently not a lot of concern there for assumed immunity benefits).  No notable ill-effects (which is good); but outbreaks on campuses - including football players - is not surprising.  At all.  Especially there.

P.S.  21 days seems harsh . . . 14 strikes me as sufficient.  (But hey, I'm no epidemiologist).  Anyone think the Big 10 will revisit that number in coming days?
